The net is covered with reports regarding the benefits of professional computer certification, and many of them are copied with salary reviews and the like. While theres certainly nothing wrong with having better job prospects and making more cash, theres one benefit of certification that many candidates ignore.
Confidence.
You cant pay your rent with confidence you cant pay for fuel with confidence you cant pay for ANY such thing with confidence, right? So who cares, right?
Wrong. The confidence you create from really making a certification, whether its an, CCNA, or CCIE, cannot be purchased, borrowed, or stolen. It has to be acquired.
What do I mean by certainly received? First, Im discussing these little files out there usually known as braindumps. I can speak from experience with this one. Those of you fairly new to the area may not have applied NT 4.0, but the MCSE NT 4.0 was the certification that finished up causing a great deal of injury to the value of professional certifications. EVERY one had one. The tests were way too simple and repeated, there were no simulation questions, and the exams expected no real hands-on experience.
As a result, my MCSE NT 4.0 had little importance. I also felt no sense of pride in reaching it.
Fortunately, examination vendors and authors seem to discovered their lesson. Cisco examinations are not easy to go, and the first Cisco accreditation, the CCNA, demands hands-on knowledge and experience. Microsoft is (eventually) putting simulation questions to their certification exams as well, and the MCSE exams have gotten tougher as well.
Therefore if you need to happen to fail an examination along the way to the very best and almost all of us do just remember that if the examinations were not demanding, they would have no value.
